JP: 文政の大火/ぶんせいのたいか
A catastrophic fire broke out in Arita town in 1828. It started when a typhoon hit the area with full force, causing the river to overflow and flood, wreaking havoc in its own right. Amidst the chaos a fire spread from a kiln fire that had got out of control. About a thousand houses burned down, and dozens of people were killed by this natural disaster.
